| NetDescriptions | At an elevation of 3,500 feet, Lost Johnny Camp and Lost Johnny Point Campground encompasses 8 acres. This campground, located in Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana,are about a half a mile apart on the shore of the Hungry Horse Reservoir. Hungry Horse Reservoir is more than 30 miles long and varies from 1 to 4 miles wide. It is a very beautiful body of water in some rugged country. Lost Johnny Camp has 5 units in timber. Lost Johnny Point features 21 sites in thick timber. This is a popular spot for boaters. It is a well developed camp with a boat ramp and swimming. Fishing is also a popular activity in this area. Both campgrounds are wheelchair accessible. Pets on a leash are welcome at the campgrounds. This camp is a good alternate if camps in Glacier Park are full. Both campgrounds have water and restrooms. There are lots of hiking trails in the area. The maximum trailer length recommended is 40 feet. The fee for the use of this campground is $13 a day. The day use fee is $4. Please limit your stay to 14 days. |
