BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Lionhead Retreat is a great home for your area stay and for exploring Yellowstone National Park. This spacious home is located just eight miles from Yellowstone National Park. The “retreat” is surrounded by National Forest Service hiking/biking trails and is located in the heart of a fly-fishing paradise. For world-class trout fishing, it’s a short drive to the Madison and Gallatin Rivers in Montana, Henry’s Fork River in Idaho, and the Firehole River in YNP. Fishing and boating on area lakes are also options, with nearby Hebgen and Henry’s Lakes.
BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: The home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The main level has one bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a full bath with a shower/tub combo and a washer. The upper level has a primary bedroom with a king bed and on-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom, or “BUNKHOUSE” has a queen bed and twin-sized bunk beds, a smart TV, two sofas, and a gaming table with six chairs - great family space for game night. There is an on-suite bathroom with a shower. The dryer is located in the bunkhouse
closet.
KITCHEN/DINING: The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your own meals with an electric stovetop, pots and pans, and everything else you need for the chef in your group. There is a large dining table that seats up to six guests comfortably. There’s also plenty of seating for enjoying outdoor meals at the large dining table on the outside deck!
LIVING ROOMS: The living room features large windows, high ceilings, a wood-burning stove, smart TV, lounge chairs, and a cozy sofa. Anglers can take advantage of the fly-tying desk and tools to create their own nymphs. The BUNKROOM serves as another living space with its own TV, sofas, gaming table, and games.
SETTING: Lionhead Retreat is in a woodsy vacation home neighborhood about 8 miles from West Yellowstone, which is the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It sits on half an acre and enjoys incredible views of Lionhead Mountain and other peaks along the Continental Divide. You’re likely to see wildlife in this area!
