The Helena Symphony presents the Helena Symphony under the stars a free concert outside at Carroll College, Community Band Concerts, Helena Stampede and Rodeo, the Farmers Market (Saturdays during the summer and fall), the Brewers Baseball Games and (my personal favorite) Montana Shakespeare in the Park are all wonderful events to attend. South of Jefferson City you can enjoy the Boulder Hot Springs (10 miles to Boulder), use one of the three very popular health mines in Basin, or enjoy fantastic fishing on the Boulder River. Also, you can take a day trip to Yellowstone National Park, historic Butte or the Grant Kohrs Ranch in Deer Lodge (be sure to visit the Deer Lodge prison while you are there - one great tour), or float/fish the world renowned Missouri or Madison Rivers! |
