NetDescriptionsBeautiful Yellowstone Art and Creative Luxury Lodging... Our lodge is perfect for: - Art/Writing/Photography/Yellowstone National Park Workshops - Retreats - Business Meetings - Non-Profit and For-Profit Organizations - Schools/Researchers - Family/Friend Gatherings Two artists, Shirl Ireland and John Stacy, are the owners of Elk River Art, Lodge & Studio and have been professional artists for over 20 years. Shirl paints and draws a variety of Yellowstone inspired landscapes, wildlife and still life. John creates bronze wildlife sculptures. Together, they design and create hand-built lighting from sconces to massive chandeliers for exemplary residential and fine commercial projects throughout the nation. They have been artists their entire lives and their creativity runs deep. Taking their artistic endeavors even further, Shirl and John have personally designed and built their luxury guest accommodations on the banks of the Yellowstone River overlooking Yellowstone National Park. Their lodge is located at the edge of Gardiner, MT...charming, friendly and eclectic. It's a short walk to local restaurants, the Gardiner Market and you can even walk to inspect the historic Roosevelt Arch. Businesses in town offer all kinds of fun adventures including: river rafting, wildlife tours, horseback rides, fly fishing trips, guiding hiking, ski rentals and more. This beautiful lodge can accommodate 13 guests with one additional toddler or infant. There are 5 private bedroom/bathroom suites in over 3,700 sq. ft. with WiFi internet throughout. The bedrooms all have high-end mattresses with high thread count linens, down comforters and fluffy down pillows. All rooms have a different personality with calm mellow colors, nice furnishings and of course, Shirl's paintings. You'll sleep well in our guest lodge! The common areas have room for a large group with a spacious, modern kitchen made for multiple cooks, a huge custom-made dining room table with views of Yellowstone for inspiring group dinner conversations and seating areas that are comfortable, roomy and inviting.
