Absaroka-Beartooth Outfitter' backcountry camp, Hellroaring, is located eight miles north of Yellowstone National Park in the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness. Hellroaring is accessed by a twelve-mile horseback ride from Independence. Independence is located at the head of Boulder River fifty-five miles south of Big Timber and accessed by 4X4 vehicles.
