Norris Hot Springs -- Water of the Gods offers a simple, rustic but elegant, authentic experience. Clean clear hot mineral water, bubbling up from the earth's depths at 120 degrees continues to bubble right up through wooden planks to fill our historic wooden pool. The pool is emptied nightly using the original gate valve installed by miners in the 1880's and cooled by a simple system of sprayers and jets. The pride of place is the promise of a Perfect Soak in all seasons.
There is much more than soaking to enjoy at Norris Hot Springs. Green building and ecological living are a part of a landscape that includes wetlands and wildlife. Great views from the pool and patio include but are not limited to Sandhill Cranes making their awkward and beautiful landing, baby deer running home at dusk, or the constant flock of red-winged blackbird at our feeders. The poolside stage in the geodesic dome offers the best in local acoustic music, operating weekends all year and kept warm thanks to the hot springs water circulated through the stage floor. On-line reservations available for 9 full service RV sites and 4 tent sites offering beautiful views and access to the hot springs pool.
The 50 Mile Grill & Snack Bar and the No Loose Dogs Saloon are also heated with radiant heat from the hot springs, providing comfortable seating on the coldest night. In summer, The 50 Mile Grill menu features all Montana grass-fed beef and bison, to name just a few favorites, and serves patio diners with grilled vegetables and a variety of fresh salads grown on-site in our Garden of the Gods. Our winter menu continues with our local, sustainable flair serving a full delicious menu with house-made soups and entree specials using preserved and stored garden produce. Home grown herb iced teas, local and organic microbrews, and fine wines round out an already exceptional experience.

Piccola Cucina At Ox Pasture -- Ox Pasture was conceived of as a place for the local and broader community to meet, regale, revive and convene over farm to fork food and delicious drinks. The building and its design are the vision of a fourth generation Montana family who wanted to give a space to young and talented Chef Chris Lockhart & his wife Maitre d’Hôtel Gena Burghof to work their magic.
For this season, we welcome a pop-up by Chef Philip Guardione and his Sicilian kitchen, Piccola Cucina. Philip cooks authentic Sicilian food which is an amalgam of Italian cuisine influenced by all the cultures that found Sicily as their crossroads. Simple, fresh ingredients authentically prepared to suit the local environment of Red Lodge. A true Sicilian, raised in the kitchen of his Grandmother and in the shadow of Mount Etna, Philip cooks with joy and expertise bringing the fresh and cozy flavors Sicilians expect to the table. The energy and hospitality of Philip’s team is exuberant & family-like.
At Ox Pasture at Piccola Cucina, we are at the heart of Red Lodge’s artisan food scene, the locally raised world class beef is featured alongside produce and herbs raised in area farms. We work directly with the local farmers and ranchers to obtain the freshest and most seasonally appropriate ingredients. And while we pride ourselves on bringing something new to the area, we also value the deep history of our community. Recovered lumber from the original establishment case our walls, and the unchanged values of this town fill them.
Whether you’re just passing through Sheridan with family or you’re one of our nearby townsfolk, we invite you to join us for a drink. Quarry Brewing -- Quarry Brewing, LLC, has revived Butte's historical tradition of handcrafted brewing after a 40-year absence. Chuck and Lyza Schnabel opened the Quarry on September 29, 2007. The Quarry quickly outgrew its original Galena Street location and has since moved into The Grand Hotel on Broadway Street in the heart of historic uptown Butte.
Quarry craft beers have earned rave reviews from the beer lovers who have sampled their traditional-style ales in the tap room and at craft brew festivals throughout Montana. Chuck Schnabel, our brewer, has always appreciated and applied the traditional German purity law known as the Reinheitsgebot, which mandates brewing with the choicest hops, barley, yeast, and water. However, because of the availability of so many quality ingredients to Montana craft brewers, he has introduced fruity and flavored beers to the tasting room.
Whether you prefer a traditional ale or you are looking for a modern twist, one taste will tell you...at the Quarry, we dig beer. Type - Brewery,Brewery Activities - Beer Sampling#Brewery, Amenities - Banquet Room#Beer/Wine#Meeting Room#Merchandise#Non-Smoking [56.70289]

Harvest Moon Brewing Company -- In 1996, an idea was born to start a brewery in west-central Montana with a name that reflected the region’s rich agricultural tradition. Thus, Harvest Moon Brewing set up operations in Belt, a rural community located 20 miles southeast of Great Falls. Why Belt? This small town is centrally located with respect to Montana’s major metropolitan areas, and it offers the charm and potential that come only with small towns. More importantly, Belt’s water supply comes from the Madison aquifer, also the source for world-class springs in Great Falls and Lewistown. Because of this water’s purity, the municipal supply system in Belt is not chlorinated or treated as most other city water supply systems. Pumped directly from the aquifer, the water is available to use straight from the tap without treatment or filtering.
Harvest Moon’s first batches were available in late 1997. Soon after, the brewery developed a reputation for a well-balanced, full-bodied beer that only quality ingredients in perfect amounts could produce. The barley is grown and malted just a few miles from the brewery, while the malted wheat (for the Beltian White Ale) and hops come from the Northwest.
