NetDescriptionsLocated in the Custer Gallatin National Forest, this canyon is around 13 miles north of Yellowstone Park. It's well known for its whitewater rafting because it has the biggest rapids on the Yellowstone River that are not within the water restrictions of Yellowstone Park. It's a small canyon; less that 5 miles and rapids are found within the first few miles of the canyon. Rafters and floaters have a few options for entry as well to decide home much excitement they want to take on through the canyon. There are a few companies that offer rafting and kayaking opportunities near the canyon as well.
