Cummings Cabin is a historic mining cabin, representative of the old mining cabins that dotted the countryside in the greater Lincoln area around 1910. The cabin has been determined eligible for inclusion to the National Register of Historic Places. Cummings Cabin is located 8.5 miles from Lincoln, Montana. The area around the cabin provides for a multitude of things to do and see. A number of hiking trails, including the Continental Divide Nation Scenic Trail and the Scapegoat Wilderness Backcountry Trail System lay within close proximity to the cabin. Nearby trout streams offer good fishing opportunities. The cabin also offers winter recreation opportunities with cross-country ski trails out the back door and nearby access to over 200 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. Cummings cabin has no modern bathroom facilities or electricity. The cabin is equipped with a wood stove, candles, table, 2 twin mattresses, 1 double mattress, limited eating utensils, pots and pans and cleaning supplies.
