This trail can be used both for a good day hike, or for the backpacker who wants an extended hike along the ridgetop to Canyon Peak. The ridgetop is good for camping, but bring your own water. There is one stream crossing about 1 mile into the hike. This trail intersects Trails 898 and 903. Length: 3.4 miles Trail Begins: Road 2211 Trail Ends: Trail 903, near 20-Odd Peak Area Map: Kootenai National Forest Visitors Map USGS Map1: Trout Creek Township 24N, Range 31W, Section 1
