NetDescriptionsTin Cup Creek Trail (96) is in excellent condition. The early part of this trail is notable primarily for the pleasant forest, varied plant life and easy walking. Mountains and rock cliffs are not much in evidence because the valley is broad and heavily timbered. At the first stream crossing, about 2.5 miles from the trailhead, the mountains become visible and from there the aspect of the trail changes. Look for wildflowers along this trail. Yellow Coralroot, a member of the orchid family, grows in deep shade in this area. Length: 14.6 miles. Low difficulty. Trail Begins: Forest Road 639 Trail Ends: Trail 24 (State Line) Area Map: Bitterroot National Forest Visitors Map USGS Map1: Como Peaks USGS Map2: Trapper Peak USGS Map3: Tin Cup Lake Township 3N; Range 21W; Section 17
