The Second Annual Stillwater Bathtub Races!!
Details:
1.We are allowing a motorized class, which will be broken up into their own classes. The traditional Peddle, Paddle, or Oar class will be available too. Feel free to use an actual bathtub or design a vessel to look like one (we are looking into allowing no greater than 8 hp motors for this event, stay tuned for more details)
2. We'll have classes for the kids to race on paddleboards and kayaks. If your child doesn't have a board or kayak, get in touch with us early and we will try to get one for them. In order to race a Bathtub Boat we do suggest the age is 12 or older to race.
3. To SIGN UP: You can pre-register online, and pay at the event, or you can sign up the day of the event. You can
message us the first and last name of team members, as well as the team 'name'. and we'll post the teams entered to prepare for the 'Best of Show' awards!
Then:
To REGISTER: Must sign waiver and Pay Registration Fee.
Registration Fees: If you pre-register, $10.00 per team, $15.00 on race day.
To compete (if under age of 18 must have a parent present to
sign) Registration on Race Day (8/25/18) opens at 10 am and closes at 12 pm. and costs $15.00
4. Must provide your own bathtub dressed boat or flotation
device, to qualify for entry.
5. Races start at 1:00 pm
6. Life vests are as required by State Law: must be available on the craft- for adults and all children Must wear one.
