| NetDescriptions | Hosted by the Montana Renewable Energy Association, this free event is open to the public and will include an electric car show featuring cutting-edge vehicles from local car dealers and owners. For kids, activities will include model solar car races, solar oven construction, and a bouncy castle. This is the 8th year the fair has traveled around the state to different cities and the first time it’s been to Bozeman. The event features a series of 45-minute educational workshops on topics including solar electricity, solar heating, batteries and energy storage, conservation and efficiency, financing and incentives, solar innovation case studies, off-grid living, renewable energy policy, and how to choose a solar contractor. Montana renewable energy businesses will be on hand to showcase their offerings and answer questions. Raffles and drawings round out the event.
