Sitting on 3.5 acres, surrounded by USFS land, wetlands with an additional spring creek, and mountains, this is your own personal getaway! Whether you are a hard core angler, novice or porch lounger, this property will meet your every need. The pond, located about 50 feet from the front porch, does have fish and is perfect for young children to try their hand at fishing. A short hike gets you over to the spring creek to try your luck. And the famed blue ribbon trout stream called Rock Creek needs no description.
The cabin has three porches. The front porch tends to be sunny and looks out over the large yard and pond. The two back porches, one upstairs and one down, sit overlooking Rock Creek and tend to stay in the shade. Large windows allow constant views of the wildlife and surrounding mountains. Downstairs holds a large laundry/mud room, open kitchen/family room with beautiful new gas stove, master bedroom with queen bed and full bath. Climb to the loft and you may not want to come down after seeing the view from all directions. Two queen beds and a bunk with queen mattress on bottom and twin on top allow for large groups. We also have three blow up mattresses if extra sleeping space is needed. A full bath and small bedroom with a twin bed finish the loft area.
New upgrades such as appliances, linens, cookware, high-speed Internet, and more will be phased in during the spring of 2013. Returning guests will find more conveniences this year and see the true beauty of the property as we bring the yard and Cabin to their full potential. |
