NetDescriptionsGet ready for a bird's eye view of the upper Yellowstone river basin aptly named as Paradise Valley! Completed in 2011, this second floor 1-bedroom, 1-bath cabin is perfect for watching deer, antelope and coyotes move about on the nearby hills. It's easy to spot an eagle soaring as well as other raptors as they search for their dinner. Emigrant Peak is framed by the living room window where you can sit and relax after an adventurous day in nearby Yellowstone National Park. The cabin's theme is wildlife: moose, deer and bison adorn the walls and linens. The large bedroom has a queen size bed and huge closet and the living room couch folds out into a comfy queen size sleeper. The full kitchen and bath have everything you need to make your stay feel just like home. The cabin originally built as a barn never housed any animals; instead the first floor is used as an office for when we are in Montana. Once you have settled in, take a stroll a few feet away and dip your feet or take a swim in 8 Mile Creek or set up a chair to take in the full beauty of the valley. A private, sheltered barbecue and outdoor dining area gives you views of the mountains surrounding the property where you can share memories of the day's events. The biggest attraction, Yellowstone National Park is a beautiful 34 mile drive from the cabin. The drive follows the Yellowstone River and places you at Roosevelt Arch, the entrance into Yellowstone National Park. While traveling, you will likely see more wildlife not to mention the majestic peaks of the Absaroka/Beartooth mountain range to the east and the Gallatin range to the west. Within 5 miles from the cabin is Chico Hot Springs. A year-round resort with two hot springs pools, an exquisite dining room and a family friendly grille. At night, the Saloon hosts various local bands featuring a mixture of genre to satisfy your musical choice. Yellowstone River, a short mile away, boasts some of the best fishing for rainbow trout. Or, if you like, you can float the river either by boat, raft or tube! The mountains in Paradise Valley have numerous hiking trails - but don't forget your bear spray! Paradise Valley offers many adventures and Mountain View Getaway is located right in the middle of all it has to offer.
