Owner, Lori O'Neill has been sewing since childhood and developed an addiction to fabric early on in life. In 2000, she developed yet another stitching obsession when she tried her hand at quilting! Unfortunately, there was no quilt shop in Livingston at the time. After bemoaning this fact to her husband, he suggested she open her own quilt shop and today, Lori enjoys watching the excitement of her customers and visitors as they eagerly walk through the doors of Back Porch Quilts.
When the local yarn store closed, Lori expanded our store inventory to include a vibrant assortment of touchably soft yarns (she was already an avid crocheter with a yarn obsession that rivaled her fabric addiction) to meet the creative needs of needle arts hobbyists.
Nestled in a rugged mountain valley on the road to Yellowstone National Park, our store features a casual, welcoming atmosphere where quilters, sewists, and other soft craft enthusiasts, can gather to learn, inspire each other, and enjoy the support and encouragement of our friendly staff members! |
