DirectionsOwl Creek is located 10 miles southeast of Condon, Montana. The Owl Creek Cabin is located at the Owl Creek Packer Camp approximately 4 miles off Montana State Highway 83 in the Swan Valley. From Highway 83 take the Holland Lake Road (Forest Road 44) to a T intersection. Take a right on to the Owl Creek Road and another right into the Packer Camp. There are signs at both intersections. The cabin is located on the left hand loop of the Packer Camp.1

NetDescriptionsThe Owl Creek Cabin is a rustic one-room (16 by 20) cabin. The cabin will accommodate up to four people. Accommodations for users include sleeping bunk with mattresses, wood heating stove, electric lights, an electric cooking stove and dining service for four with a reasonable assortment of cooking utensils. The cabin is not equipped with running water, but from May 20th through November 15th a potable water source is located just outside the front door. During the winter season (November 16th through May 19th, potable water will not be available at the Owl Creek Cabin. This is a great location for horseback riding with trails leading into the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area. Renters have the option of renting Horse Corral #1, which is located approximately 200 feet from the cabin. Grizzly Bears frequent the area, store your food, beverages, coolers and garbage inside the cabin. Pets are not allowed. Water is not available at the Cabin between November 16th through May 19th. No Pets, No tent camping. Owl Creek is located approximately 200 feet south of the cabin. Wildlife inhabit and use the area. Porches, ramps, steps and roadways can be slippery when damp or frost covered. Outfitters and Guides with Livestock use the area. No candles permitted inside the cabin. Keys to the outside portable toilet are located inside the cabin. Hay brought must be certified weed free. Wildlife and livestock use the area. This area is heavily used by outfitters and guides with Livestock and can at times be very busy and experience more than usual noise levels. There is a five-night maximum stay limit and no pets are allowed in the cabin. Please visit website for more information.
