| Long Description | <p>Hathaway is between Miles City and Forsyth. It was a station on the railroad and named for Major Hathaway, a US Army officer. (from Cheney's <I>Names on the Face of Montana</I>, Mountain Press Publishing Company) A very small community located on the banks of Yellowstone River and along the Lewis and Clark Trail. Area activities include boating, camping, fishing, hunting and rock-hounding.</p> |
