NetDescriptionsA perfect place for wilderness weddings, family reunions and specialty retreats or just a spot to get away for a night, special occasion or just relaxation! What we offer is unique, simply elegant, and inviting: An incredible location, upscale accommodations, and terrific hospitality. An all suite Bed & Breakfast Luxury Retreat, the ultimate wilderness escape with charm, character, and comfort-catering to discerning travelers that want to get away from civilization yet enjoy comfort and stellar service. Since we cater to only a few guests at a time, you will enjoy a real sense of having your own private getaway for a vacation or special occasion venue exclusively in the foothills of the Mission Mountains. Truly relax, kick back, and soak in the serenity and incredible views at the Ranch, or enjoy the sauna and the stars. There is no schedule here, just service with a smile. With easy access, less than 50 miles to Missoula International Airport via Interstate 90, Mandorla Ranch is located off Route 93 on the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Reservation. The nearby Ninepipes Wildlife Refuge, with an abundance of diverse migratory birds (birdwatchers love this location!), and the National Bison Range, offer a lot of diversity of wildlife to observe. At Mandorla Ranch even a grizzly bear has been known to wander by now and then. Enjoy hiking, biking, and riding horseback nearby. A lot of major local attractions can capture your attention for a day. Rodeos, powwows, music, and festivals are among the numerous seasonal events held throughout the summer. Set amongst 35 prime acres of ponderosa pines, nestled high in the foothills of the 10,000-foot peaks of the Mission Mountain Ranch, Mandorla Ranch's 6,000-square-foot designer log lodge was sited, designed, and constructed to enhance the sense of peace and harmony reflected in the surrounding mountain wilderness and storybook mountain peaks. Featuring secluded 360-degree views overlooking the Mission Valley and upward into the Mission Mountains, the home showcases cathedral ceiling and picture windows, inviting public areas and great room, international and local art collections, a well stocked and diverse library, a twenty-foot Cappuccino Cowboy Bar, and massive stone fireplace and intimate seating areas inside and out. The eastern, southern, and northwestern lawn sites are ideal for tented venues as is the fun western barn for dancing and after wedding parties. The expansive rock gardens, fountain, and private rose garden are beautiful settings for photo shoots. Swing from the tree hammock or sit on the decks and watch a very different world unfold, from morning wildlife to awesome western sunsets. The lovely southern garden room features workout machines (including a Pilates Reformer, treadmill, and recumbent bike) and spacious cedar sauna. The private gazebo on the southern lawn has a million-dollar view under the stars of the Big Sky. The Tristan Suite ($180/night) features a French provincial king-size canopy bed, fireplace, antiques; fantastic western, southern, and eastern views; large private bath with two-person Jacuzzi; shower/steam bath; and private entrance into the Garden Room. The Nina Room ($155/night) features an antique double oak bed and furnishings, a private bath, and a private entrance on the eastern veranda. The Sun Room ($160/night) offers a queen Murphy bed, single window bed, and private bath with wonderful west, east, and southern vistas - some of the best at the Ranch! - and private entrance via circular stairway from the Garden Room. Large TV screen serves as a computer screen. The Barn Loft ($165/night) features a king brass bed, beautiful northern exposure looking directly onto Mt. Harding, sink, refrigerator, microwave, electric fireplace, and oak antiques with full bath on lower floor - within the main upscale barn - separate from the main lodge. All rooms can be booked exclusively for wedding venues. Sleeping rooms have in-room TV with access to network and satellite channels as well as local stations. The Ranch has complimentary WiFi. Excluding the Barn Loft, Mandorla features central air, and private in-room sound systems (to play your own choice of CDs). All rooms offer close access to the library, outside gazebo and garden room sauna. All room rates are based on two persons in a room; third person sharing a room is $25.00. Rates do not include the additional 7% Montana bed tax. 2 night minimum stay. A gourmet breakfast is included in the rate and served at your pleasure in the great room or outside on the western deck overlooking the pond. Cuisine features fresh fruits (from our orchard if in season!), juices, organic eggs, meats, waffles, or crepes and other great recipes and gourmet coffees from Mandorla's own Cappuccino Cowboy Coffee House. There are a number of local dining establishments which feature both lunch and dinner menus. We can certainly recommend our favorites. Ranch animals abound with American Quarter Horse Paints and lab Hobo who provides comic relief and great company on hikes. Personal pets and smoking are not permitted in the house as a courtesy to all guests. Note: Room rates are based on double occupancy for the 2017-8 summer season, and are subject to change. Advance reservations are strongly recommended. During peak summer holiday weekends, early reservations are a must to ensure accommodations.
