NetDescriptionsCastle Geyser has the largest cone for a cone-type geyser (120 feet around) and looks like the ruins of an old castle tower. It erupts to heights from 60 to 100 feet and lasts about 20 minutes. A noisy steam phase follows that lasts for 30 to 40 minutes. Eruptions occur about every 10 to 12 hours. This geyser could be the oldest geyser in the basin.
