Only 12 miles north of Whitefish this mountain home is close to all the area has to offer. 50 miles North and you'll be in Canada. Amtrak's "Empire Builder" stops in Whitefish daily. Car rentals are available from Hertz at the station. Roads are fully plowed in winter and conventional vehicles seldom have difficulty. (However, heavy snows can happen!)
