It is also in the vicinity of 90-mile-long Lake Koocanusa and The Hoodoos, a limestone formation found in an adjoining bay off the lake. There is an undeveloped boat ramp and fishing access nearby. Area lakes provide fishing for rainbow and cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon, and whitefish. During high reservoir fluctuations, backflow finds its way into the river. No camping fee. |
