NetDescriptionsTwo days of family-oriented fun is the focus for Daly Days in Hamilton. Downtown Hamilton and the Marcus Daly Mansion team up to celebrate Hamilton's historic heritage on Friday and Saturday, July 24-25, 2015, sponsored by the Hamilton Downtown Association. Hamilton's Main Street will be bustling with activities and events on Friday, including sales and promotions in downtown businesses, street vendors with food and crafts, activities for kids, Shop Local promotion, and a street dance on Friday night. The Bitterroot Arts Guild also hosts its annual “Art in the Park” show and sale at American Legion Park adjacent to downtown. On Saturday Main street hosts the sidewalk sales, the Bitterrodders classic car show, and activities ranging from wiener dog races, to a Kiss the Pig fundraiser. The Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast is a favorite, then head to the nearby Farmer’s Market at the Ravalli County Museum. Art in the Park continues at American Legion Park from 9-5 p.m. as well. As these activities wind down, the Bitterroot Brew Fest starts at 5 p.m. on Saturday, sponsored by the Bitter Root Valley Chamber of Commerce. Also on Saturday, step back in time, as life during the turn of the century is re-created at The Daly Mansion. Saturday's festivities will include re-enactors in the house and on the grounds, demonstrations, antique farm equipment and cars, carriage rides, local artisans, music, a pie and bake sale, pony rides for the children, the Daly family mementos, tours, and more. A special Daly Mansion tour price will be offered on Saturday for $5.00 and children under twelve will be admitted free. For more information call The Daly Mansion at 406-363-6004, or the Hamilton Downtown Association at (406) 360-9124. A full schedule of events will be on our website, www.hamiltondowntownassociation.org.
